Hello and thank you for visiting these pages.

To those who are new to the work, welcome, I hope you find some connection to these images; to old friends and collectors, I miss you all and think of you often, and the times we have shared in Dublin and Kerry, London and America. I hope all is well with you and those you keep in your heart.

As for my work, I have been ill for some time and unable to paint as I would wish, but the images still burn like fire in my mind and I know that nothing has been lost.

I have always communicated visually with the world and the frustration of not working is intense: the next show will be rich with stored emotions, and there will be a next show, of that I am sure, so please keep faith with the work to come.

Thank you for all your kindness and support over the past years and during the difficult times I am facing now. I appreciate it more than I can say and always look forward to hearing from you if you have a comment or question, or just a hello.

The work continues alive and intact inside; I think it is unquenchable. The heart still beats. The brain is mostly still working, or at least as much as it ever did, and the body is the same cluster of leftover bits from the end of a production line that it always was. I expect a resumption of normal service when the technical issues have been resolved.

My best regards to you

Biography

Welcome to the website of renowned artist Linda Graham.

Linda Graham trained in fine art in The Hague, Netherlands and Art and Design in Kilmainham, Dublin in the 1970’s. Graham paints mostly in oil, appreciating the jewel-like translucency the medium imparts to the colours, and has made major stained glass windows that translate this quality to the traditional discipline in it's purist form. She also studied Art Therapy, working in community arts and with various marginalised groups.

Graham has works in private and public collections internationally in over 13 countries. Public works and commissions include  The BreastCheck Unit at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Interpol’s Sirene Centre at Phoenix Park and The Legal Aid Board, all in Dublin. The Office of Public Works in Ireland have several pieces, and work hangs in the State Rooms at Áras an Uachtaráin, residence of The President of Ireland.

A Director of the Cill Rialaig International Arts Project, her paintings can be seen at the Cill Rialaig gallery, and Origin Gallery, Dublin. Along with many group exhibitions, she has had successful solo exhibitions in Britain, Ireland and the U.S.A.

Following the success and acclaim for her Origin shows, Graham's work has gained recognition on an international scale.

After extensive media coverage, RTÉ made a documentary on the life and work of this extraordinary artist in 2007.
